Abstract
Essentially, our project focuses on the fictional company, “Bare Bones Creamery.” Bare Bones Creamery is a company that sells all natural, affordable, no nonsense ice cream targeted towards people between the ages of 18 to 40. Our main goal is to document the process to grow and scale this company to 100 employees in about 10 years. Outside of this, we’ll also develop different departments of the company including finance, accounting, supply chain, IT/ data analytics, human resources, legal, sales, and marketing. Each department will grow with the company and will become more detailed as time progresses. Certain variables such as business investments and budget will be estimated based on realistic measurements. We will also take inspiration from various guest speakers throughout the semester who will provide us with a better understanding on how to run our own business from their personal experience. Overall, this project will teach us how to properly grow and scale a startup business using knowledge we’ve gathered from every class we’ve taken throughout our collegiate career.
