Abstract
Many homeowners enjoy having plants around their homes. However, life can quickly become busy and stressful. This often makes it difficult to keep with their house plants. The goal of this project is to design a device that will be able to help take care of house plants. The device will be able to water the plant when the soil moisture is detected. The device will also monitor the air temperature as well as the sunlight levels that the plant is receiving. All of the collected data will then be sent via Bluetooth to a smartphone. The app will alert the user when the plant in conditions that will limit growth and when the water is running low.
