Submissions Guidelines
All majors are welcome to submit--the only requirement is that you are a registered UA undergraduate student.
See our Facebook Page for updates on when submissions are open and closed.
Although e-mail submissions are preferred, you can submit physical copies to the AshBelt box at the front office of the English Department (3rd Floor, Olin Hall).
Fiction

(must be double-spaced, preferably in Times New Roman, 12-point) Submissions should not exceed 2,000 words or 8 pages. Longer pieces will be considered but the likelihood of acceptance is much lower.
Flash Fiction

(must be double-spaced, preferably in Times New Roman, 12-point) Up to 3 pieces (500 word limit each).
Creative Nonfiction

(must be double-spaced, preferably in Times New Roman, 12-point) Submissions should not exceed 2,000 words or 8 pages. Longer pieces will be considered but the likelihood of acceptance is much lower.
Poetry

Scripts
