Aims and Scope of the journal
The Journal of Neuropsychology and Behavioral Processes encourages contributions from students and faculty at all levels. Undergraduate research is welcomed, although support of a faculty mentor is strongly suggested. Graduate students and independent faculty (or other credentialed researchers) are also encouraged to submit their work. The journal hopes to foster developing researchers while supporting the ongoing work of those who are progressing in their respective disciplines.
We recognize that research is a developmental and ever-changing process, and new research directions can be difficult to initiate and establish. Plus, many journals that specialize in a particular area of investigation tend to accept a limited range of work that fits specific expectations. As such, our journal offers a platform intended to support scientific inquiry and research outcomes that might not always conform to traditional expectations of 'statistical significance.' Indeed, what we hope to foster is an outlet for quality work and a reflection of good science mentorship at all levels.
