This presentation focuses on identifying the essential skills by which to elevate the competencies and capabilities needed to attain positive Black manhood. The presentation will include a description of the Adonai Center for Black Males' Standards of Mastery Curriculum that provides instruction in sixteen skills and competencies designed to elevate the status of young Black men, and how this curriculum has been used in four public high schools in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, including how it has resulted in positive and measurable outcomes.
