African Amercan Voices::The influences of black art in american society.Statistics on the Black art market from an American perspective.Why is there a deficit iin art education,art appreciation,and art collecting in working to middle class of blacks? What can be done by art educators/artists to appeal to a younger audience.

An increase in art education and appreciation in African Americans communities. Statistics on the arrests of tag ( graffiti art ) with or without formal education.Are these graffiti artists making money? How can the artist build a bridge with museum,gallery curators and is there enough education on how to live of there own work.

Education on gallery's criteria for artists and what gallerys except African -American artists without compromising the identity of the artist work.

How do we come up with a proper solution? Researching individual artist lives and if the work is evolving? is education the only way artist can make a living? What is the best route for success for local ,national, international artists ?

The whole conclusion of the presentation is to expose the lack of know how and appreciation within some African American schools and communities, of mainstream art and offer solutions.Though art is appreciated and enjoyed by most people supporting local black artists seems to the struggle . Also to reflect on artists such as Thoma Duncanson ,Henri Oswassa Tanner and Phyllis Wheatley who were the few of the first African American artists who created art here in The United Sates or abroad. These artists had a diligent approach to their craft and set the mold for african American artists today.
