P07 Breaking the Chains, Death to Willie Lynch

Johnny Brownlee, One Man Many Talents

Description

All around the country many speak of and have heard of The Willie Lynch Letter / Syndrome but very few minorities have actually read it, heard, or been exposed to it. Even fewer have heard about the “supposed” New Willie Lynch Letter. However it’s apparent that racist organizations have. Even though the Letter has been called a hoax, there is no denying the truth that can be found in it, and it being a possible hoax, has not stopped racist organizations form teaching and carrying out the mission of the letter.

Session goal: To alert people to the cultural, social and historical ways of thought that still go on today. How even the best of us contribute to the syndrome, how our race has been called out/formulized, how they can stop it and get involved and not take social, racial and political improvements/movements for granted.

Session Outline: (Time can be tailored to conference, event or school specifics) / 5 minutes - introduction / 35 minutes - lecture/ open discussion / 10 minutes - wrap up / questions / Give contact information (with permission) / / Preview Video / / Breaking The Chains Preview - http://youtu.be/UIVdUB9TbZc
