Abstract
This article provides a concise and practical overview of key professional responsibility issues uniquely affecting entertainment lawyers. As the entertainment industry often involves complex relationships, overlapping roles, and high-stakes negotiations, the authors identify ethical challenges that frequently arise in areas such as conflicts of interest, confidentiality, dual representation, and fiduciary duties. The article uses real-world scenarios to illustrate the application of ethical rules and offers guidance on avoiding common pitfalls. By grounding the discussion in both the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct and industry-specific norms, the article aims to equip entertainment attorneys with the ethical tools necessary to navigate their specialized practice with integrity and professionalism.
