Gainey Site: Variability in a Great Lakes Paleo-Indian Assemblage
Ongoing excavations at the Gainey fluted point site have revealed many clusters of tools and debitage within an area of approximately three acres. In this essay the patterning of two clusters is discussed. Also, a general description of the flaked stone industry for the site as a whole is given.
