RESEARCH AND FIELDWORK EXPERIENCE: Research director and principal investigator, the Culture of Reading study. Developed as CBRSL component course Qualitative Methods for Anthropological Research. Project was designed to allow graduate and undergraduate students to apply methods from the class and work with 4th graders to study the environment and interactions related to reading in an urban, public elementary school.
